Vision-guided delta robots with JLS-engineered Vacuum on Board (VOB) tooling acquire chubs from the V-TRACK conveyor and place them into precise case-pack patterns.
The system handles a wide range of chub diameters, lengths, and weights — covering ground beef, sausage, pet food, cookie dough, and specialty food logs — with tooling and configuration selected for your product sizes, weights, and pack patterns. Throughput depends on the chub format, pack pattern, and system configuration; JLS validates rates against your actual products.
The VOB tooling is configured to your exact chub format. Changeover requirements depend on the chub formats, tooling, and case patterns — JLS defines the changeover process for your specific application.
The Osprey CL's flight-free conveyor provides continuous-motion case transport — no constant start/stop cycling that creates mechanical wear and timing complications. Pinch belts maintain case control throughout the loading sequence.
Case erecting and sealing are handled by selected partner equipment, with JLS coordinating the agreed interfaces so cases arrive, load, and discharge in a coordinated sequence. The system can be configured for RSC, HSC, retail-ready, club-store, and custom case formats, with case configurations managed through the HMI alongside the product changeover recipe.
Loaded and sealed cases discharge to your palletizer and distribution system. Palletizing is selected partner equipment, and JLS coordinates the agreed controls interfaces for the project. JLS programs and supports the application controls on commercially available B&R technology — the same platform used across the TALON®, Osprey, HAWK®, and PEREGRINE® product families — which supports clean communication with the equipment around it.
