YORK, Pa., August 6, 2026 — JLS Automation will run an integrated cartoning-to-case-packing line plus three additional robotic food handling demonstrations throughout PACK EXPO International 2026, Oct. 18–21 at McCormick Place in Chicago. In booth S-2776 in the South Building, food processors can see difficult products handled at production speed and attend seven scheduled narrated demonstrations across the four-day show.
The demonstrations cover robotic cartoning and case packing as one integrated system, controlled case loading of soft brick packs, AI-assisted vision and product refeed, and high-speed collate-and-load of meat snack sticks. The systems will continue running outside the scheduled presentations throughout show hours.

Machines will run throughout show hours — 9 a.m.–5 p.m. Sunday through Tuesday and 9 a.m.–3 p.m. Wednesday — and JLS automation specialists will be available to discuss specific products, packages and applications.
U.S. Built and Supported for food production
Every system in the JLS booth is engineered, programmed and built at the company’s headquarters in York, Pennsylvania. JLS completes all PLC, vision and HMI programming in-house using commercially available B&R Automation hardware, allowing its team to support updates and troubleshooting with minimal third-party programming dependency.
Design and construction are matched to the food product, application and cleaning requirements of each platform. JLS-engineered Vacuum-On-Board (VOB) 2.0 tooling places vacuum generation on the robot arm and reduces compressed-air consumption by more than 50% compared with conventional vacuum systems.
Support is delivered by JLS’s in-house customer support team in York, working directly with the engineers who designed, built and programmed each system. There are no third-party support contractors or overseas help desks.
