York College of Pennsylvania, ranked #80 in Regional Universities North, is a private liberal arts college in Spring Garden Township, Pennsylvania. Offering more than 50 baccalaureate majors in the sciences, professional programs, and humanities to 4,400 undergraduate students.
York College’s Engineering program is currently ranked in the top 20% of programs in the United States. In 2008, the Kinsley Engineering Center – home to mechanical engineering, computer engineering, electrical engineering and computer science, was renovated from a historic factory. York’s faculty, staff and students all came together contributing to the design of the building, housing undergraduate engineering and computer science education programs.
The Kinsley Engineering Center is located on West Campus, containing modern equipment, facilities, classroom spaces, offices, laboratories, conference rooms, and fabrication space. Unlike most 4-year programs, York allows their students, once reaching a certain level, to do their co-ops at various times during the year, rather than only the summer months.
