Food observance day · LinkedIn + Facebook · same 27-second 4:5 video with sound on both (tap the speaker icon to unmute)
Video: approved badge pop → “Making ONE sandwich? / Pretty simple.” → “Making THOUSANDS? / Now we’re talking.” → montage of genuine JLS sandwich-line footage (bun sorting, protein and cheese placement, top bun, flow-wrapper loading, case packing) → “We take sandwiches seriously. / Maybe a little TOO seriously.” → badge end card with “When Performance Matters.” Music is an original track made for this video, so there is no licence or copyright-claim risk.
Updated with Pete’s feedback (Nov 3). LinkedIn now shows two packaging paths after flow-wrapper loading by TALON®: OSPREY® case packing, or PEREGRINE® cartoning followed by HAWK® packing the cartons into cases. Facebook gets one short line on wrappers, cartons and cases. The video shows case packing only, and neither post says it shows cartoning or HAWK®. HAWK carries ®, not ™: it is a registered mark per the JLS trademark list (Terminology.md). Both first comments link to /talon-sa, because /automated-sandwich-assembly-systems redirects there.
Note: the proof video is a lighter web copy. The full-quality file for posting is in Nat_Sandwich_Day_2026/READY.

Today, we celebrate great sandwich makers everywhere. Happy National Sandwich Day!
The best sandwich in the world might have bread, egg, cheese, bacon... maybe another slice of cheese. (We're not judging.)
Making one great sandwich is part art, part science. Making thousands of them consistently, at production speed, takes some serious engineering. And that's where things get interesting.
At JLS Automation, our TALON® robotic systems help food producers assemble sandwiches layer by layer, precisely position ingredients, and load assembled sandwiches into flow wrappers. From there, PEREGRINE® systems can load wrapped sandwiches into cartons, while OSPREY® robotic case packers can load wrapped sandwiches directly into cases. For cartoned products, our HAWK® system can take things one step further, packing finished cartons into shipping cases.
So, as you enjoy your sandwich today, remember that behind a perfectly stacked sandwich, there may be a lot more engineering than you expect.
Vision-guided robotics. Product-specific tooling. Precise placement. And a relentless focus on predictable performance.
Because when you're producing sandwiches by the thousands, consistency matters just as much as what's between the bread.
Happy National Sandwich Day from the team that takes sandwich-making perhaps a little too seriously.

The engineering behind a sandwich is more interesting than you might think.
From robotic ingredient placement and assembly to flow-wrapper loading, cartoning, and case packing, JLS helps food producers automate the repetitive work behind high-volume sandwich production.

Our Robots Have Excellent Taste in Sandwiches. 🥪🤖
Well, technically, they don't taste anything. But they do know how to build one!
It's National Sandwich Day, and at JLS Automation, we take our sandwiches a little more seriously than most.
While you're deciding between bacon, egg, and cheese or a classic ham and Swiss, our engineers are figuring out how robots can stack those ingredients accurately, one after another, at production speed.
🥪 Bread? Check.
🧀 Cheese? Check.
🥓 Bacon? Absolutely.
🤖 Vision-guided robotic assembly? Now we're talking.
Our TALON® robotic systems help food producers assemble sandwiches with the consistency needed for high-volume production.
And the fun doesn't stop at assembly. Our robots can also load those sandwiches into flow wrappers, cartons, and shipping cases. 📦
Of course, there's one thing our robots can't do.
Decide whether a hot dog is a sandwich.
We're leaving that debate to the humans. 😄
Happy National Sandwich Day!

🥪 Important question for National Sandwich Day:
If you could only eat ONE sandwich for the rest of your life, what would it be?
We're taking nominations. Extra points for bacon. 🥓
And yes, we actually build robots that assemble sandwiches! See how they work:
