Automatic chub loading is fast, simple and sanitary with JLS Automation. Our vision-guided secondary robotic case packing system automates your manual chub loading process while ensuring the strictest sanitary requirements.
The Osprey® automatic chub loading system loads chub packs with speed, accurate placement and preferred product orientation into cases. Our system is easy to use, boasts a small footprint and is built to withstand operating 24/7 in washdown environments.
The versatile Osprey CL can handle chubs as small as 8 oz to as large as 10 pounds. Whether it's fresh chubs directly from the line or wet, frozen chubs from the freezer, a pick-and-place, end-of-arm tool with a high payload single- or dual-head delta robot packs chubs in several configurations.
Rely on JLS when performance matters. The Osprey CL can effortlessly load 120 to 200 chubs per minute, depending on size, weight, condition (fresh or frozen), and pack pattern for several applications, including:
The Osprey CL eliminates the many complexities found in other pick-and-place, gantry and wrap-around case packing solutions. Reduced mechanical and electrical hardware means less maintenance than traditional systems, resulting in increased up-time and reliability. Case erecting, loading and sealing are all decoupled to maximize system performance, flexibility and provide numerous layout options.
The JLS V-Track pick conveyor prevents rolling and keeps chubs inline.
Dynamic case management delivers high-speed, continuous case loading without accumulating product prior to loading.
With our Vacuum On Board™ technology, sanitation is as simple as a tool changeover—no cleaning needed. Vacuum hoses, filters and blowers are eliminated for easy, efficient cleaning.
