Logos Academy is a private, faith based, Christ-centered school accredited by the Middle States Association. Founded in York, PA in 1998, they started with only 14 kindergarten and first-grade students. Since then, Logos Academy has continued to provide the best, most affordable education for all families living in York, PA, reserving more than half of their classroom seats for those who live at or near the federal poverty line.
Over the last two years, the average tuition rate per student was $9,000; however, because of the generous support of the local community, an average student only paid $2,000 to attend the academy. Today, Logos Academy serves 260 students in grades K-12 on their own campus constructed in 2010. Within the last year, 99% of students received tuition assistance coming from over $2 million in scholarships. Their main goal is to make their high-spirited learning community accessible to everyone.
