The day
On August 13, we opened our doors in York, Pennsylvania, to celebrate 250 years of American manufacturing. Customers, partners, neighbors, our own employees, and their families joined us for plant tours and live demonstrations of our robotic packaging systems, a welcome from President & CEO Craig Souser, a talk from Paralympic champion Brad Snyder, and dinner together under the tent.
To everyone who spent the evening with us: thank you. It was a day about the people who build things in this country — and you were a big part of it.

Brad Snyder at JLS Founder’s Day
Brad Snyder is a retired U.S. Navy Explosive Ordnance Disposal officer and a graduate of the U.S. Naval Academy. In September 2011, while serving in Afghanistan, he was blinded by an improvised explosive device.
One year to the day later, he won gold in the pool at the London 2012 Paralympic Games. He added three more swimming golds in Rio in 2016, then switched sports and won paratriathlon gold at Tokyo 2020 — six Paralympic gold medals and two silver in all.
At Founder’s Day, Brad shared that story with our guests. If you were in the room, here it is again. If you missed it, it’s worth the time.
